RN to BSN Completion

Complete your nursing degree in Lincoln through our flexible hybrid completion option

As licensed professionals, Registered Nurses automatically earn 36 credit hours as they work toward completing the 64 nursing major credit hours required for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree-and they may also apply real-world clinical experience toward the remaining 28 hours of credit in the major. Students enrolled in the RN to BSN Hybrid Completion Option earn their Bachelor's degree by completing an additional 64 credit hours of academic coursework outside of the Nursing major.

Nursing courses are offered in a hybrid format with only three on-campus meetings over the course of the term. Students with clinical practice experience in the workplace can apply for portfolio validation towards the clinical portion of the 28 nursing credit hours.

The general education courses at Bryan College of Health Sciences also provide an overview for curriculum requirements for students in both the BSN program and the RN to BSN Completion Option. Here is an sample of the RN to BSN curriculum plan.
