Transfer FAQ
Where do I start the transfer process? Do I have to wait until prerequisites are done?
If you're thinking about transferring to Bryan College of Health Sciences, you’ll follow the same steps as any new student. You don’t need to finish any prerequisites before you apply. We offer all the general education classes you’ll need, so you can apply whenever you're ready!
The application is online and easy to complete from home. Just make sure to send us all your transcripts from any high schools or colleges you’ve attended.
Will transferring courses help me finish faster at Bryan?
If your transfer courses are accepted, you won’t have to retake them, but it doesn’t mean you’ll finish your program sooner. Our clinical programs like nursing and sonography have a set number of spots each semester, so even though you are transferring courses to Bryan, it doesn't mean you will finish faster.
- Nursing: 4 years
- Cardiac and Vascular Sonography: 4 years
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography: 3.5 years
Transferring courses can make your schedule lighter each semester, which gives you more time for things like working, getting involved on campus or taking care of other responsibilities.
What are my housing options?
Here at Bryan we do not have your traditional residence halls on campus. Be sure to attend our Accepted Student Dinner and New Student Registration events so you can connect with your future classmates.
