Background:
Although my nursing experience is varied, my last years in patient care were on a renal unit caring for patients with chronic kidney disease, and subsequent comorbidities and patients with kidney failure. My research focus is studying an integrative approach to CKD self-management. I teach undergraduate students in the RN-BSN completion option and graduate/doctoral students in research courses.
