Personal and Professional Support

The Professional Development Center is here to help you enhance your college experience by becoming involved in professional activities. Through our mentoring program, we provide you with the opportunity to enhance your college experience.

Academic, Personal and Professional Counseling

College can be an overwhelming transition as a new student or a stressful time for an upperclassman. It's our goal to ensure your experience at Bryan College of Health Sciences is a great one and you leave with the skills needed to be a successful health care professional. We provide one-on-one support if you're having personal or professional issues.

Brief and short-term counseling offered on issues related to:

  • Freeze frame (bio-feedback)

  • Assertiveness

Professional Development also serves as a liaison between Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), personal counselors and other outside resources.

Peer Mentor Program

Professional Development sponsors the Peer Mentor Program. This program is designed to help students navigate through their college experience.


Faculty, parents and students have the ability to refer a student. If you would like to refer a student, please contact Patty Bollinger to schedule an appointment.
