Professional Development is here to help you enhance your college experience by promoting personal well-being and involvement in professional activities. Through the Peer Mentor Program, students can focus on their professional, social and personal development through a variety of meetings, events and outings.
Academic, Personal and Professional Counseling
College can be an overwhelming and stressful time. It’s our goal to ensure your experience at Bryan College of Health Sciences is a supported time in your education where you leave with the skills needed to be a successful health care professional. We provide free and confidential short-term counseling if you are experiencing academic, personal or professional concerns.

Peer Mentor Program
Professional Development sponsors the Peer Mentor Program. This program is designed to help students navigate through their college programs of study, develop new skills and styles of performance, and promote personal and professional support networks.
Partnerships & Referrals
Professional Development serves as a liaison between our partnerships with Continuum EAP and Bryan Heartland Psychiatry, as well as personal counselors for longer term counseling and outside resources and referrals. Continuum EAP offers an offsite option for short-term counseling. Bryan Heartland Psychiatry offers medication management of mental health needs.
